AMAZING 80TH BIRTHDAY!

This property is beautiful! It was perfect for our stay. My FIL who is a submarine vet turned 80 and we had a group of 19. From age 12-80. The house had everything we could ask for including a bed for everyone. A very well stocked kitchen and the huge island were we all gathered for dinner and birthday cake. The dock is amazing and we spent a lot of time fishing, crabbing and tanning. Would highly recommend! Thank you!

We had an absolutely wonderful time during our 4 night stay, we really wish we could have had more time here. The house itself was perfect, very clean and spacious. The porch off the kitchen was a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the abundance of wildlife, just so relaxing! We were lucky enough to spot dolphins on 3 occasions during our stay, it was magical and most definitely a highlight for the whole family. We can’t fault anything at all about the house, the host or the location. It was truly wonderful!!

Our group of eight immediately felt on vacation as soon as we got settled in. Great spot and well stocked with everything we needed. Lora has thought of everything. We’ll be back. Everything on the boat lift worked great! Dad and everyone had a really great time!

"We had a magical weekend at the Southern Exposure Bay house and the owner went above and beyond to accommodate our family! We celebrated my parents 50th anniversary, and when she heard that she gave them a card and cupcakes and other perks! It was incredibly generous of her. The house was perfect for us as well. There are so many beds that everyone had a great place to sleep. Everything was spotlessly clean. We have 2 that are very allergic to animals that we were concerned about, and neither had any allergies while we were there."

Beautiful home and property! This home bares no expense when it comes to upgrades, cleanliness and overall beauty! We loved it here so much we are already planning a return trip!! Thank you so much for everything Lora. And a special thank you to Benji the tree guy for coming out and taking care of the huge trees that fell during a storm and blocked the driveway (yes this happened LOL). Lora contacted him and he came out immediately and took care of it and we were able to carry on with our day as if it never happened! This will go down as one of the best family vacays we've had thus far!!!

First the house is clean and the host was amazing. She stayed in touch with us during our stay to be sure we were comfortable and happy. She went over and above to answer any questions we had. Everything is set up to relax, fish and go crabbing. The property is close enough for quick trips to Fairhope, Magnolia Springs and Foley. We wanted a short trip to unwind and have a spot to ourselves. This was the place.

The Frog Room

This room sleeps 5 and has the best view of the front pollinator garden.

This listing looks great online but looks even better when you arrive! The home is maintained so well and was so clean. Everything you need for a great stay is provided, kayaks, a fire pit with wood, games, books, big fluffy towels, beach towels, bug spray, you name it. The owners have gone above and beyond. Our boys caught a crab in the trap, fished til they’re heart’s content, swam, and kayaked. I want to visit again soon!!!!

We walked in the door and were "Wowed!" Pictures on the website sometime make rooms and space look larger than they actually are. The pictures here make the rooms look smaller than they actually are. Everything is decorated so nicely. Loralie sent texts making sure everything was as it should be for a great vacation, offered suggestions on things to do and places to go while we were there. The house was very well equipped and the kitchen cabinets and drawers were even labelled with the contents. She left small treats for guests, even the dogs! I could go on and on but Loralie is the model hostess!

The home was super clean and had everything and more we could've asked for. The views from the patio, sunrooms, kitchen and family room are stunning. It is so private, what a retreat. We hung out on the boat dock, went kayaking, and the kitchen had everything we needed. To top it off, the owner Lora couldn't have been more gracious and helpful. Not only professional but kind and everything was so easy the whole way through, it really added to the trip for us. We hope to be back sooner than later. What a beautiful home, bay, it was such a special trip for us, better than we could've imagined. Thank you, Lora!

This place was so spacious and well supplied, with awesome sunrises plus it also has a pier with everything needed. Water, lights, chairs, traps, fans, nets, pier cart. This host has left nothing out you will need. Kayaks, Bikes, games etc. I been renting from VRBO for years and have never had a better Host than Lora Davis.

The Bay House was exactly the same in person as presented online. So many sitting areas with great views and beautiful landscapes made for hard choices. The kitchen is very well supplied with all things needed to prepare fabulous home cooked meals. The bedrooms are great size and the baths are as presented. No complaints and would definitely like to return again someday. Thank you for sharing your home away from home with us!

We rented the property for a girls weekend but it would certainly be appropriate for families. The location is very peaceful and quiet yet conveniently located near Fairhope and Foley where we enjoyed shopping and going out. The dock is large and amazing. It faces east for a beautiful sunrise. It's nice for laying out and I can imagine that the fishing is amazing as fish were jumping out of the water like crazy. We saw dolphins our first day there. The site is well supplied with outdoor furniture, bikes, kayaks and crab traps. The rooms are clean, large and every room has more than one bed. I hope to bring my family back.
